my first attempt at bleaching my hair wasn't as successful as i wanted for my dramatic reveal.
since then i have had many twitter friends let me know that this look is actually called ombre - even though, "just the tip" still resonates with me. my seester-n-law helped out by sending a 'how to' video. after watching a couple of those, i decided to give it another whirl.
this time i used foil.
and checked my results several times before deciding i was happy.
washed it all out.
and dried it.
i like it. i like it a lot.
